SARTEAM was founded on November 20, 2011 with the main objective of supporting civil protection authorities in special rescue areas, as is the case:
- Rescue in Collapsed Structures;
- Flood Rescue;
- Mountain Rescue;
- Caves Rescue;
- Canyoning Rescue;
- Wilderness Search and Rescue.
SARTEAM is a non-profit making association.
SARTEAM is officially recognized as a civil protection organization in the fields of protection and assistance by the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority since October 2018.
