The 12 in an cave in Thailand missed children and their trainer are alive.

They are doing well in the circumstances. After 9 days British cave rescue divers found them in Pattaya Beach, a dry part of the cave.

This was the first and maybe most important success. But still considerable effort is needed, maybe over weeks or even month, until the children can be safely handed over to their families.

The member organizations of ECRA are also working intensively on possible further steps, to be able to support in case of a specific request at any time.

ECRA has full confidence in competence and professionalism of the British cave rescue divers on-site. We are sure, that this team from BCRC the operation best possible and can assess the situation well.

The ECRA Board wishes a lot of success for the further work to the whole rescue team in Thailand.
